Greensboro Bee City USA Discussion Meeting
Please join us Wednesday, 18 October at 6:30 p.m. for our first Greensboro Bee City USA meeting. Please share this invitation with anyone interested in learning more about Bee City USA and working to establish Greensboro as a Bee City. We’ll have a short PowerPoint to highlight what Bee City USA is, but the bulk of the time we hope will be discussion about vision for the program in Greensboro and next steps in the process. Although we’ve scheduled 2 hours, we will aim to keep it a little shorter.
Olav Rueppell with UNCG is working to make UNCG a Bee Campus USA and instigated this Greensboro Bee City USA work. Three board members of the Guilford County Beekeeping Association (Vern Allen, Robert Jacobs, and Donna Wallace) and the T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society, have all expressed interest in supporting this effort to help make Greensboro a Bee City USA.
